The future of work lies within Digital Organizations (DOs). These are the cousins of DAOs, still digital, but not fully autonomous. Rather than relying strictly on code, DOs rely on humans and tokens to coordinate.” - David Hoffman - Bankless

DAOs should theoretically be a vehicle for amplifying collective intelligence. But the tools and infrastructure just are not there yet. You can't amplify collective intelligence on top of Discord and Forums. @Benschecter

Planning DAO Tooling

PowerPool DAO Roadmap Objectives

The PowerPool DAO is summoned to enable Template developers, node-running automation Keepers, and passive investors to pool their efforts to achieve balanced, longer-term investment performance more efficiently than could be achieved individually. The objective of the DAO is to operate the value-adding PowerAgent Automation Network and supported chain LST multi-asset management PowerBaskets to increase the value of the $CVP/$lsCVP token. The DAO will focus on commercialising the PowerAgent generalised automation network to generate Keeper/Treasury cash flow in native tokens. As the native token LST market matures on each supported chain, PowerPool will launch diversified LST PowerBaskets supported by PowerAgent on each chain.

Once multiple $LSTxxx PowerBaskets are in operation, PowerPool will also have the option to launch auto-balancing blended baskets-of-baskets and a flagship acitvely-managed multi-chain, multi-LST $PWRPOOL PowerBasket token. There is also the option to launch PowerSyndicate, a solution for automatically managing insurance coverage for smart contract risk/slashing risks inherent in operation of diversified Baskets.

PowerPool DAO Governance rules and processes strike a balance appropriate to the mission of the DAO between delegation to an executive Management Board, and Community proposals put forward periodically for informed $lsCVP stakeholder voting. PowerPool DAO governance processes are designed to balance the inherent tradeoffs between flexibility/agility on one side, and stability/dependability on the other side. The DAO welcomes larger passive investors, but governance is based on quadratic voting of $lsCVP, which reduces the proportional influence of the larger stakeholders relative to the smaller.

Introooducing Quadratic Voting on Devfolio

Together with governance platform partners, the PowerPool DAO will maintain and evolve powerful governance tools for harnessing the collective insights of $lsCVP stakers with ‘skin in the game’. Some key financial parameters, like the Treasury Charge, will be routinely monitored and adjusted by the DAO. Grants to Template developers and others are also routinely voted on by the DAO.

DAO Governance Processes

Eligibility, Venues, Quorums & Thresholds by decision types:

Venue refers to whether the voting takes place on the DAO Forum, some more informal/specialised part of the Governance platform, or in some cases, just among the Management Board. Quorum refers to the percentage of eligible stake-weighted votes required for a vote to be valid. Threshold refers to the margin by which the affirmative vote must exceed the negative vote for a DAO Proposal to be actioned. ONLY staked $lsCVP is eligible to vote, therefore the % Quorum calculation needs to be based on ACTIVE $lsCVP staked or allocated into Keeper wallets. Unstaked and LPed $CVP is NOT eligible to vote.

PowerPool DAO Governance Parameters

PowerAgent Tuning Parameters - Treasury Charge, Slashing rates, etc.

PowerPool Treasury Management - (buy, sell, LP $CVP)

New $LSTxxx PowerBasket Specification - (no initial financial commitment)
